Our Women Back to Work Program has a profound impact on the lives of the women we support. Many of our WBW candidates are eager to return to work after taking time off raise children, take care of ailing family members, divorce, the need for financial independence, career change, and even cancer treatment. margaret seery

Margaret Seery, Technical Program Manager
Margaret has a 20-year career in software development and took a break from work to care for her daughters, both of whom have a chronic genetic condition. Coming out of a 19-year break, she was the first returner to receive an offer out of hundreds of applicants for the Cisco Enterprise Networking Division Returnship Program.


richa chaturvedi

Richa Chaturvedi, Business Analyst
Richa Chaturvedi was a certified Scrum Master with over 8 years of experience in quality assurance, business analysis and project management before she took a 3-year break to raise her children. As a resident of Southern California, Richa connected with Women Back to Work when we were recruiting for the Farmers Insurance Returnship. She was the first WBW Returner to receive a full-time offer at Farmers.


Gaby Gemetti

Gaby Gemetti, Program Manager
Gabriela has over 12 years of experience in strategic planning, financial planning and business analysis, and took a break in 2014 to stay home due to her son’s medical challenges. As hard as it was, Gaby’s decision to leave the workforce was justified when her son started requiring regular therapy. Now that her son is in kindergarten and thriving, WBW was able to help Gaby return to the workforce as a Program Manager.


Anjana Mohan

Anjana Mohan, ETL Informatica Developer
Anjana took a 5-year career break to assist in supporting her family. Aside from helping her family during this time, Anjana also pursued multiple technical courses and was trained as an ETL Informatica Developer and learned about QA and BO. She even spent time as a disc jockey for a Malayalam radio station. Anjana was hired by Farmers Insurance as an Informatica Developer.


Jennie Tsang

Jennie Tsang, Technical Program Manager
Jennie took a 2-year break from her career to care for her family before she found Women Back to Work. With over 14 years of experience leading enterprise system quality projects at Sun Microsystems and Oracle, Jennie’s technical background made her a great fit for many of WBW’s clients. She recently joined Cisco as a full-time Technical Program Manager.


Deepali Puntambekar

Deepali Puntambekar, Mobility Tester
Deepali considers herself lucky to have been able to take time off work to stay at home and raise her children. But when they became old enough to go to school, she wanted to go back to work as a Mobility Tester. She found it wasn't easy. She soon found Women Back to Work and with some hard work and perseverance, landed a great job.


Vanessa Cruz

Vanessa Cruz, Administrative Assistant
Having worked in the medical industry, Vanessa had great administrative and clinical skills along with a great attitude. But, she needed help getting back into the workforce after taking time off to help raise her family. WBW helped land her a position with a great employer.


Adriana Pulido, Business Analyst
In 2017, Adriana Pulido chose to step away from the workforce and care for her daughter when she was laid off as Product Manager. When she decided to return, she soon realized a new role at a new company was difficult to find. She then got acquainted with Women Back to Work, which saw the potential from her previous experiences as a Software Engineer, QA Engineer, and Applications Consultant. Adriana is now back in the workforce as a Business Analyst at Cisco.


Nancy Reschka, Software Test Engineer
Nancy Reschka’s work experience was 11-years in the robotic systems industry before experiencing a 4-year career break while caring for her child and moving from Germany to California. Despite her experience, Nancy found it challenging to find a new role with a new employer. Along with taking courses in robotics and data engineering to upgrade her skills, Nancy discovered Women Back to Work to help revive her career. She’s now employed with self-driving leader Aurora Innovation as a Software Test Engineer.


Gayathri Goutam, Software Engineer
Gayathri took a ten-year break from the workforce to devote her time to helping her children with their schoolwork. During this time, she volunteered at Girls Who Code and served on the board of directors of her children's school. She also assisted in the creation of the website for her children's school. Her struggle to get back to work came to an end when she was acquainted with Women Back to Work. She has now successfully returned to work as  Software Engineer at Palo Alto Networks.


Tabitha Rosenblum, Deployment Technician
15 years in the IT industry is often overlooked when you have an 11-year break. Due to medical complications, Tabitha Rosenblumm's successful career in the IT industry came to an abrupt halt. One of her greatest struggles returning back into the workforce was finding an organization that would once again believe in her skills. Her collaboration with WBW and her persistence led her to a new job at VMware. She is currently employed as a Deployment Technician.
